Further removes residual oil to achieve low oil content when this stage is required.
Continuously measures the oil content in the discharge water.
Below the configured limit, discharge is permitted. Above the limit, overboard discharge stops and flow recirculates to the treatment inlet.

A screen separates heavier solids and particles before biological treatment, helping prevent clogging and damage downstream.
Microorganisms on moving biofilm carriers break down organic matter into carbon dioxide and water. Aeration supports this biological process.
Settling separates residual solids and suspended activated sludge. Biomass returns to the biological stage; clarified water continues to disinfection.
A chlorine-based chemical disinfects the water. Neutralising agent LC35 is dosed before the discharge pump to meet chlorine limits.
Biomass from the clarifier returns to the biological stage.
Treated excess sludge is reduced in volume and can be discharged or collected in an external tank. Retained biomass allows the plant to keep performing during sludge removal.
